Iowa State fans leave the snow behind

From Christmas trees to cactuses, many Iowa State fans only gave Santa Claus a few minutes to drop of the presents this year. They ate some of the Christmas feast, opened a present or two, and then left the frigid Iowa weather behind. Cyclone fans arrived in Phoenix Tuesday and enjoyed the warm 70 degree weather under the palm trees, as they await the first Iowa State bowl game appearance in two decades. This night view of a giant cactus at The SunBurst Resort will be a common site this week for the hundreds of Cyclone fans staying at the resort.
