Letter to the editor: Falun Gong ban

Wang Bing-Bing

If someday you were ill, and someone told you that your illness was caused by the wrong you caused in your previous life, would you believe him?

Furthermore, if you want to see a doctor, but he tells you that you need to repay your debts by enduring the illness, won’t you think he is mad?

However, this is one of the major points of Falun Gong.

The founder of Falun Gong once claimed that our planet would have exploded if he didn’t use his power to delay it. Isn’t this ridiculous?

Why are there so many people fond of it? It’s cheating then.

Its principles seem attractive, and it uses a coat of Qigong to cheat people.

When some people were persuaded to begin the practice, a lot of money went into several people’s pockets, and many people died of practicing Falun Gong. They either became insane and killed themselves or their relatives or became seriously ill but had to, “repay their debts.”

That’s why it is banned in China.
