The Iowa State soccer team split a pair of games over the weekend. The Cyclones defeated Northwestern 3-1 on Friday but then dropped a 1-0 decision to Minnesota on Sunday. Both games were played in St. Paul, Minn. The Cyclones record is now 2-1-1. In the victory over the Wildcats, the Cyclones got goals from three different players. Krista Voss scored the first goal, with just nine minutes gone, as Tiffany Belz picked up the assist. The Cyclones struck again three minutes later, on a score by freshman Nicole Wilcox on an assist from Ali Sullivan. The goal was the third in two games for Wilcox. Northwestern scored a goal to cut the Cyclone lead to 2-1, but the Cyclones countered as Krista Odenwald scored the final goal of the contest.
