I just want to say a few things for the record and represent all the mad people about the ignorance on campus. First off, Andy Merrick, your neo-Christian attitude is disgusting. I was almost physically sick reading your letter. Your beliefs are your business, keep them that way. Claiming you are the beholder of truth, that Christianity is the only truth, oh boy. You infuriated me enough to take time out of my busy schedule to write this. You struck a nerve with a lot of people, I’m sure. Your ignorance is so great I don’t even know if I can describe it except to say I pity you and look down upon you. “Intolerance festers in your cold heart until it is nothing but a black ball of mushy poop.” (Mary 4:20) See I can quote scripture too! That brings me to my second point, stop quoting the Bible to back up arguments, it is the most ridiculous form of proof I have ever encountered. And thanks to you, I now have a headache. My third and final point is this: Why can’t a supreme being create a world that evolves? Does the universe lie stagnant forever? Does anyone besides Andy want it to? Is the world still flat and everything revolves around earth? How boring a universe is the one Andy claims as “truth?” Truth is ever-changing as it should be and your opinion, or mine, has no effect whatsoever. Dan Vlasak
