Shanon Curfman returns to the M-Shop

Jon Dahlager

Fifteen-year-old blues phenom Shannon Curfman will be playing the M-Shop today, returning to the venue she sold out last March. Curfman also opened for the Indigo Girls at Hilton Coliseum in June. Developing as a guitarist and singer in the presence of bluesman Jonny Lang, Curfman and her family moved to Minneapolis from Fargo, N.D. Her live performances have earned her comparisons to both Bonnie Raitt and Janis Joplin, and her first album, “Loud Guitars, Big Suspicions,” was the top-seller on Amazon.com for two days earlier this month. Tickets are still available for tonight’s concert.
