Positive COVID-19 cases begin to rise again

Since Thursday morning, the Iowa Department of Public Health reported that Iowa’s total number of COVID-19 cases has risen by 1,259 positive cases and is now 78,227.

More than 2,000 people also tested positive via antigen testing.

Ten more people have died from COVID-19, bringing the state’s total death toll to 1,258.

In Story County, 38 more cases have been reported bringing the county’s total to 3,241. Story County’s death count remains at 17.
