Iowa State women’s golf heads out West for the Stanford Intercollegiate tournament

Iowa State women’s golf will head out to the Stanford Intercollegiate to finish off the fall portion of its season. 

Competing alongside 17 teams, the Cyclones will look to finish higher than their 11th place finish at the Windy City Collegiate. Senior Chayanit Wangmahaporn had the highest finish for the Cyclones at the tournament with a score of 219. Wangmahaporn racked up 11 birdies at the tournament and has shot par or better in four of her last seven tournaments. 

Iowa State will be paired with Northwestern and Washington in its first day of play on the par 71 course in Stanford, California. Iowa State teed off at 7:30 a.m. on Friday.
