Women’s golf finishes 13th at Stanford Intercollegiate

The Iowa State women’s golf team finished in 13th place at the Stanford Intercollegiate this afternoon. USC won the tournament by shooting five below par on the final day.

Iowa State was the recipient of quality performances from senior Chayanit Wangmahaporn and sophomore Alanna Campbell.

Wangmahaporn finished tied for 47th place with a score of 223. She shot 77-71-75 over the three days. Campbell finished the highest for Cyclones, sitting tied for 42nd place. Campbell racked up a solid 221 (75-73-73) to finish her tournament.

This tournament marked the end of the fall portion of the women’s golf team’s season. Iowa State will play on January 27 in a dual match at South Florida.
