The Ames Police Department arrested Vashawn Kejoun Green, 28, of Boone for attempted murder and the dominion/control of a firearm/offensive weapon.
The alleged shooting occurred at 9:04 p.m. on Sept. 21 in the 3800 block of Tripp Street in Ames. Ames PD reported that the shooting resulted in a male victim being sent to the hospital.
