Iowa State took its second tournament in a row with another fantastic performance at the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic. The men finished up earlier this week in second place, only to be outdone by their female counterparts. The Cyclones finished nine shots ahead of second place UNLV.
Junior Karisa Chul-Ak-Sorn led the way for the Cyclones in first place with an overall score of two-under-par and grabbed her third career win.
Freshman Nichakorn Pinprayoon tied for third place, and was the second best Cyclone, shooting one-over-par.
Junior Pammy Chookaew finished tied for fifth place at two-over-par. She was third for Iowa State.
The sophomore from Melbourne, Australia, Keeley Marx, finished in a tie for eighth overall and was fourth of the Cyclone competitors at three-over-par. The top four Cyclones were instrumental in their victory.
