Iowa State gymnastics (2-5, 0-0 Big 12) finished third in a quad meet, made up of Air Force, Bridgeport and the host New Hampshire.
The Cyclones finished with 192.900, New Hampshire finished 195.275, Air Force with 193.950 and Bridgeport with 191.800.
Iowa State had two gymnasts claim double podiums. Sophomore Haylee Hardin won both vault and floor, both with a score of 9.9.
Sophomore Frederique Sgarbossa placed third on beam with a 9.8 and second in the all-around category with a 39.1, recording a personal best.
The Cyclones also had multiple new career highs set by different members of the team.
“Today was not indicative of who this team is, but even with that, you need to celebrate the wins,” head coach Ashley Miles Greig said.
