Dearest readers,
Before I begin, I’d like to extend a warm welcome or welcome back to the Weekly Horoscope. I have a lovely announcement to share with everyone, that being that the horoscope will soon become a daily installment on the Iowa State Daily’s publication. Our new routine will include the astrological week at a glance, published at the beginning of each week and daily horoscopes through to the end of the week (excluding Saturdays).
Mars in Aquarius
Not only this week, but all the way up until March 2, we will be experiencing Mars in Aquarius. This alignment can cause imbalance in your relationships, but it may also reveal who your true friends and companions really are. Do not be surprised this week if you are met with a great flood of attractive invitations, as it is the time for group outings and vacations.
While this alignment may make life feel like an incredibly rushed race, you must not resist it, as this flow will push you in a clearer direction. Reach out to the friends you know are tired and true and let the events of this week reveal who is really there for you.
In honor of Mars in Aquarius, there are a few things to keep at the forefront of your mind before you start your day. Firstly, this planetary season, paradoxically, lends itself to both overconfidence and social anxiety. Before you make any rash decisions, remember to take a deep breath and think before you act. Secondly, ensure that you do as many things as you can in a group. Now is the time to socialize, connect and strengthen bonds with people of all walks of life.
Neptune entering Aries until 2039
On the very morning of Monday, Neptune will be emerging from Pisces and entering the Aries transit all the way up until 2039. This is huge news, as it takes Neptune longer than a century to move through the entire zodiac. This is a time of mourning for all the Pisces out there, as Neptune was with you for a whole 15 years.
Historically, the last time Neptune was in Aries, events such as women’s suffrage, abolition, industrial growth and even the U.S. Civil War occurred. This alignment is very significant, but certainly unsurprising, as the recent political climate has reflected long-foreseen astrological predictions.
Much change is ahead; it is essential to keep reading, keep seeking ways to expand our minds and further provoke our hunger for intelligence. We are never the same again after these transits end, so make the most of it by pursuing intelligence to navigate the change this alignment foretells.
This is a time to build on your dreams, develop a thick skin, get your hands dirty and set your values straight. Above all, if you are an Aries, do not fall for the short-lived identity crisis that may befall you in these first months. Release all judgments and limitations and seek your answer in artistic pursuit.
The moon
During this week, the moon will move from Aries, through Taurus, Gemini and end in Cancer. Not much is of note, other than the fact that on Monday, we will all be under a First Quarter Moon in Taurus.
Try not to buy any unnecessary things this week, as you may find it easy to seek stability through material things. Consider pursuing shadow work, journaling and general self-reflection. Once you accept who you are, it will become easier to live with yourself, even in the absence of material joys.
