Dearest readers,
We ought to welcome the month of February with our best foot forward, because this will be the most astrologically-packed month we’ve experienced in the past decade. Tune into our weekly glances to avoid letting the month’s events catch you by surprise.
Leo full moon on Feb. 1
Get ready for things to get romantic long before the start of Valentine’s Day. This Leo full moon is bringing in all the big, cheesy displays out a lot earlier than we may have calculated. Much like most full moons, this one will shine down to strictly deliver her cause. In this case, lovers may be pushed in definitive directions. Similar to tarot, the lovers card will either be upright or inverted.
The night of Feb. 1 will be perfect for any romantic endeavors you may have planned, a good solo or group spa day, practicing your affirmations, being around people you love and nourishing what makes you whimsical.
In the case this full moon doesn’t affect you in the love department, it may easily stir up any unaired grievances you may have pent up. The Leo energies may give you the confidence to take on confrontations you may usually not have the courage to act on.
Ultimately, whether you’re spending the full moon in the company of one, many or none, be certain you put your own interests forward. It may be easy to get caught up in the day’s drama, so remember to breathe and recall your values and boundaries.
The end of Uranus’ retrograde on Feb. 3
Tuesday marks the perfect day to sit down and do something creative. Whether it’s arts & crafts, singing or dancing, make a day of it. It’s not recommended to be online for any time longer than necessary on this day, as the end of this retrograde asks us to be especially grounded.
The end of the Uranus retrograde marks our exit from the tight circle this retrograde had us held in. As a matter of fact, the last time this astrological event happened was during the peak of World War II and the Great Depression. Thus, Tuesday will mark a breath of fresh air for many, as this retrograde rarely ever brings on good news for us.
Mercury enters Pisces on Feb. 6
Mercury will be entering Pisces on Friday, an astrological event that will last until March 20. We should be looking forward to this, as it promises to sweeten up the bitterness of this cold winter. Make a little bucket list for the time Mercury is in Pisces. Include small things like getting a new candle, reading a book in a cozy blanket, wearing your favorite sweater and socks and making s’mores and hot chocolate over the stove or outdoors.
The moon
As aforementioned, the week will begin with the moon in Leo, moving through Virgo and finally ending in Libra. The moon invites you to make it a point this week to be better about accepting criticism, organize and clean before things get too bad, practice tolerance and accept who you really are without any apologies.
