Incoming Cyclone George Conditt IV to play with Puerto Rico U18s

Another incoming Iowa State men’s basketball player will play for their national team this summer. 

Incoming forward George Conditt IV will take part in the 2018 FIBA Americas U18 Championship as a member of the Puerto Rican U18s. 

Conditt is a Chicago, Illinois, native and a member of Iowa State’s 2018 recruiting class. He will head to San Juan, Puerto Rico, for training starting on May 27. 

Iowa State head coach Steve Prohm was happy for Conditt. 

“We are excited that George will be able to represent Puerto Rico this summer,” Prohm said. “This is an exciting opportunity for George and his family, as well as our program.”

The FIBA Americas Championships are being held from June 10 to June 16 in St. Catharine’s, Canada.
