The second Reggie’s Sleepout event has been cancelled due to inclement weather, according to the event’s Facebook page.

“With the snowy conditions we want to make sure your safety is first,” said a Facebook post on the event’s page. “Although we had the choice to Sleepout tonight, youth who are experiencing homelessness do not have that choice.”

The post did not say whether the event would be rescheduled, but said to continue to check the page for updates on logistics later this afternoon.

Another post on the page read donations that participants were planning to bring to the event can be dropped off between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at the YSS Headquarters, located at 420 Kellogg Ave.
