Advance tickets to see stand-up comedian Tim Allen go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. at the Iowa State Center. Tickets are priced by section. This stand-up comedy show is intended for mature audiences only.

The performance will be at 8 p.m. Sept. 15, 2017. Tickets are priced by section. Only audience members of 18 and older will be allowed entrance.

Tickets can be purchased from noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Iowa State Center Ticket Office, which is located at the north entrance of Stephens Auditorium; at all Ticketmaster centers; by phone: 1-800-745-3000 or online via Ticketmaster.

Tim’s career has spanned over 35 years, starting out as a stand-up comic in Detroit to landing big roles in Hollywood like the “Santa Clause” movies, “Wild Hogs” and as a voice actor for “Toy Story”.

Throughout the ’80s Tim did stand-up comedy until he landed the role in the ABC series, “Home Improvement,” which earned him a Golden Globe Award, an Emmy nomination, and the People’s Choice Award for “Favorite Male Performer in a Television Series” eight years in a row.

Even after his successes in his sitcom, Tim went on to produce an independent film called “Crazy on the Inside,” which he also stars in along with other A-list actors.

Tim is also a writer, director, successful producer and best-selling author.
