Iowa State’s offseason has been a whirlwind.

Six seniors graduated. Two players transferred out and two graduate transfers are coming in.

Monday afternoon, that whirlwind continued.

Waukee, Iowa, native Michael Jacobson will transfer to Iowa State from Nebraska. The news was first reported by Chris Williams of Cyclone Fanatic.

Jacobson, who is listed at 6-foot-8, 220 pounds, appeared in 65 games for Nebraska over the last two years. He averaged 6.0 points and 6.2 rebounds per game as a sophomore.

Jacobson will have to sit out the 2017-18 season due to NCAA transfer rules. He will have two years of eligibility remaining, beginning in the 2018-19 season.
