President Donald Trump has experienced some unexpected roadblocks within his first months as POTUS.

Take a look at some of the controversies surrounding the Trump family during the first weeks of the Trump presidency:

Airport protests in response to travel restrictions:

After President Trump created an executive order placing a ban on travel in and out of America from certain parts of the world, havoc broke out across the nation. Protests sparked in airports, streets and college campuses. The Washington Post reported that the order has caused for a distinct split among Americans, dividing the country even more than before.

Mexico’s president and the wall:

On a trip to Mexico, President Trump scheduled a meeting with Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto to discuss his campaign promise to build a wall on the border of Mexico. Nieto cancelled the meeting publicly via Twitter, announcing Mexico will not pay for the wall like Trump requested.

Ivanka Trump brand endorsement slip:

In a TV interview, Kellyanne Conway endorsed the Ivanka Trump brand, resulting in an investigation requested by the U.S. Office of Government Ethics. Thoughts have sparked, questioning the ways the Trump administration is using the presidency and its media time.

Pre-inaugural Russia talks

Former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn resigned from his position with the Trump administration after allegations that he had been communicating with Russia before Trump’s inauguration. The position had to be filled, and Trump had to retrace his steps by setting the record straight on Twitter, stating that the real scandal is that “classified information is being given out by ‘intelligence’ like candy.”
