The first Senate meeting of the new session will take place Wednesday night.

The new legislative body — elected by the student body in early March — will vote to elect the speaker and vice speaker of the Senate.

The senators will vote to confirm President Cole Staudt’s choices for the executive cabinet. The new senators will also vote on committee leadership.
