Carstens: Democrats Poke At Trump About Tweet

Courtney Carstens

Hillary is a criminal, Bernie is a socialist grandpa, and Donald, well he’s bad mouthed, sexiest and racist. Trump is one of the worst of the worst. Donald is a poor social mediaist. Taking away the personalities of each of these persons, you will see that Donald Trump has not done anything as bad as the others. They have all lied and are filled with hypocrisy.

Hillary is a criminal and many people will agree with me on that, not because we are strictly conservative but because we see the truth with her current email scandal which involved her going against government protocol and sending highly sensitive government information through her private email.

Bernie is a socialist grandpa and most likely only the Bernie fanatics would argue with me on this. According to Poli-Fact, Bernie Sanders has identified himself a socialist while others in the Democratic Party has told us that Bernie simply interchanges the word socialist with a democratic socialist. Either way this candidate has pushed socialist ideas which are against the idea of the United States. We are a capitalist country, we cannot afford to become more of a socialist state.

Trump quoting dictator Mussolini on Twitter was simply the Democrats attempting to hurt the Trump campaign.Which failed on Super Tuesday when many political analysts predicted that the Trump Campaign would get its footing back, and it did.

The only reason I accuse Democrats of doing this is because of the website Gawker admitted that Gawker’ Ashley Feinberg created a Twitter bot last year that would post quotes from the writings and speeches of the Italian fascist dictator Benito Mussolini, but with all of them attributed to businessman and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.’ Trump was fooled on February 28th, when he tweeted that comment.

Gawker wanted to show that Donald Trump is a fascist, but all this proves to me is that Trump is not only a racist, sexist but he is also a terrible social mediaist who doesn’t watch where his Tweets come from.

When asked if he wanted to be associated with a fascist he replied, “No, I want to be associated with interesting quotes,”

“And people, you know, I have almost 14 million people between Instagram and Facebook and Twitter and all of that. And we do interesting things. And I sent it out. And certainly, hey, it got your attention, didn’t it?”

While I am not a Trump supporter by any means, though I am a conservative, I have to agree with one thing that Donald Trump has said when asked about the Tweet. “It’s okay to know it’s Mussolini. Look, Mussolini was Mussolini. It’s okay to — it’s a very good quote. It’s a very interesting quote, and I know — I saw it. I saw it. I know who said it, but what difference does it make whether it’s Mussolini or somebody else?”

It’s one quote that is not stating that he is a fascist but merely stating that he wants to be a lion instead of a lamb. He wants to be the strong one, the one who isn’t being hunted down. This is yet another example of our society making a bigger deal out of something than needed.

If I quote Hitler, no one is going to say I’m a Nazi or that I have any affiliation with Nazism. However, if Trump, Hillary or any other celebrity would quote the German Dictator, than we would hear all about it over social media just like we have about Trump and the Mussolini quote.

The Trump Tweet is just the Democrats trying to push Trump off his game and that isn’t going to happen. The controversy around the tweet is a complete waste of time and is example of our society making a bigger deal out of a minor mistake.
