Ames Police searching for robbery suspect

The Ames Police Department is looking for Jeremy Devon McCorley, 26, of Ames, who is suspected of being involved in two burglaries that occurred last June.

The Ames Police Department is looking for Jeremy Devon McCorley, 26, of Ames, who is suspected of being involved in two burglaries that occurred last June.

The Ames Police Department is looking for an individual who is suspected of being involved in two burglaries that occurred last June.

Police are searching for Jeremy Devon McCorley, 26, of Ames.

Ames Police Department press releases say the first burglary took place on June 29, on Marigold Drive, while the second burglary occurred the next day on Melrose Avenue, police said.  

According to the most recent press release, McCorley was accompanied by DeSean Marquis Sims, 18. Sims has already been arrested and charged with first-degree robbery and assault while participating in a felony. 

Arrest warrants have been issued since June also charging McCorley with robbery first-degree and assault while participating in a felony.

McCorley was last seen during late June in Ames. Anyone who has information on McCorley’s location should contact the Ames Police Department, or the Story County Crime Stoppers.
