Same matchup, same result.

Oklahoma came to Hilton to play Iowa State on Saturday, and the Cyclones came out with a four set victory: 25-22, 22-25, 25-15 and 25-23.

The first set had many lead changes and ties. It included three challenges and two timeouts, but in the end, Iowa State won 25-22.

The second set took less time, and the Cyclones got on a roll in the beginning of the set. The Sooners came back and made it a tie at 22 a piece. Oklahoma would later win that set 25-22.

Coming out of the half, Iowa State made a statement with minimal errors, which resulted in a 25-15 set win. The Cyclones didn’t allow the Sooners to come back,  which led to some confidence going into the fourth set.

The fourth set wasn’t as dominant as the third set, but Iowa State had fewer errors than Oklahoma.  Iowa State was able to pull out the set and match win, 25-23.

Iowa State will hit the road for its next matchup in Fort Worth, Texas against Texas Christian. Iowa State took the first match this regular season in four sets. The match will take place on Nov. 7 at 12 p.m.
