The Big 12 schedule did not get any easier for the Cyclones on Sunday afternoon as Iowa State squared off against No. 3 West Virginia.

The Cyclones (6-11, 0-7 Big 12) needed to make some magic happen against the highly-ranked Mountaineers if they wanted any chance at getting into the Big 12 tournament.

West Virginia rolled through Iowa State by a score of 4-0, ending the Cyclones chance at qualifying for the Big 12 tournament.

West Virginia got on the board in the 25th minute and again in the 41st minute to take a 2-0 lead into halftime.

The Cyclones allowed two more second half goals and ultimately fell by a 4-0 score.

Iowa State has one final game on the 2015 schedule. The Cyclones will face off against Texas Tech on October 30 at the Cyclone Sports Complex in Ames.
