Iowa State (5-6, 0-2 Big 12) kicked off Big 12 play this weekend, but things didn’t quite go the way the Cyclones had planned.

The Cyclones fell to TCU by a 5-0 score on Friday, and to Oklahoma by a 3-0 score Sunday afternoon.

On Sunday, the Sooners scored in rapid succession in the 33rd minute and 38th minute to take a commanding 2-0 lead before the half.

Oklahoma scored a final insurance goal in the 72nd minute and cruised to a 3-0 victory.

The Cyclones allowed eight goals in the first two conference games, while failing to score a single goal of their own.

Iowa State will get its next crack at Big 12 opponents next weekend when both Baylor and Kansas come to Ames. They will take on Baylor next Friday night, and Kansas next Sunday afternoon.
