The ISU women’s soccer team played its first Big 12 conference game Friday night against TCU.

TCU got on the scoreboard first and didn’t look back. The Horned Frogs scored four goals in the first half and held the Cyclones to zero.

Iowa State never really found a rhythm as TCU didn’t allow any goals.

TCU held onto its 4-0 lead and scored another goal in the 85th minute, increasing its lead to 5-0, which would remain until the final.

The Cyclones will continue on its Big 12 schedule when they take on the Oklahoma Sooners on Sunday, Sept. 27 at 1 p.m. in Norman, Okla.
