IRHA Kick Off

The Inter-Residence Hall Association (IRHA) Parliament met Thursday to discuss orientation for new members. Vice President Weston Elias, sophomore in political science, explained that the IRHA hopes to accommodate student needs and accomplish new goals.

“Housing is one of the biggest ones that we want to talk about this year,” Elias explained.

President Rachel Greifenkamp, senior in interdisciplinary studies, agreed and brought up other concerns that are being focused on:

• Greifenkamp said she’d “like to see us spend all of our money, if we don’t spend the money [students] don’t see the benefit of it.”

• “I think that it is important that our voice is heard in dining,” Greifenkamp said, stating that dining is something that affects all students.

• Both Elias and Greifenkamp agree that they would like to see improved relationships. “I’d like to continue to see improved relationships with student government,” Greifenkamp said.

The IRHA will meet every Thursday evening at 7:45 in the Memorial Union to further discuss the upcoming year’s goals.
