University Museums is celebrating its 40th year at Iowa State. University Museums consists of the Anderson Sculpture Garden, Art on Campus Collection and Program, Brunnier Art Museum, Christian Petersen Art Museum and Farm House Museum. 

There will be special events and exhibitions all year at various locations to observe the anniversary. The most notable events in 2015 will be the Old Fashioned Independence Day Celebration celebrating the first building on campus and the agricultural heritage of the institution. 

Another notable event is 40/40 Exhibition Event celebrating 40 years of the Brunnier Art Musuem on Sept. 19. There will also be the Anderson Sculpture Garden and Art on Campus celebration at the Anderson Sculpture Garden, Morrill Hall Museum at 11 a.m. Oct. 1. 

Throughout the summer, the Anderson Sculpture Garden and Art on Campus Collection are open 24 hours, seven days a week. The Brunnier Art Museum is open from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The Christian Petersen Art Museum hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday and the Farm House Museum is open from noon to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday.
