Last Tuesday, German woman Annagret Raunigk reportedly gave birth to quadruplets – three boys and one girl – in a Berlin hospital. The kicker: she’s 65 years old. The second kicker: she already has 13 other children, and is a grandmother of 7.

According to a CNN article, Raunigk underwent artificial insemination multiple times before becoming pregnant with four embryos.

Agence France-Presse reported that Raunigk was shocked at the four embyo-pregnancy, but she never considered reducing the number.

The babies were born at 26 week gestation, but they have a “good chance” of survival, according to BBC.
