Breakfast tortillas

This one is a classic. Think of it as a breakfast taco, and you have so many options. You can throw in some hash browns, eggs, bacon, sausage, hot sauce, peppers, ranch, potatoes, salsa and whatever else suits your fancy.

Random stuff in waffles

The possibilities are endless. You can throw in some fruit, chocolate, bits of bacon or whatever else you can really think of. Mix your new ingredient(s) in with the waffle batter and throw it on the griddle to cook to perfection.

French toast sticks

This is so simple, just make your French toast and cut it into strips to make them dip-able in your favorite syrup. It’s like using a fork, but you’re using your fingers to eat instead (duh.) This is a great idea for kids, or you can cut up your toast in case you need to eat on the go with a little container of syrup. You can also cut them into smaller cube-like shapes to make them that much easier to handle.

Chocolate peanut butter banana breakfast shake

Courtesy of CookingClassy.com, this shake is super simple. All you need is two bananas, one cup of almond milk, a quarter cup of creamy peanut butter, two tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder, a half a teaspoon of vanilla extract and three quarters of a cup of ice. Just blend it all together and you’re in business.

“Egg in a basket”

Take a piece of bread and cut out the very center of it with a circular object, like a shot glass. Butter both sides of the bread and throw it on a pre-heated skillet. Let the bread cook a bit, then crack an egg into the open hole in the center of the bread. Let the egg cook a bit, then flip the whole piece of bread over to cook the other side. Bada-bing, you’ve got yourself an interesting breakfast.
