ISU men’s basketball seniors Bryce Dejean-Jones and Dustin Hogue have been invited to showcase their talents at the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament, April 8-11 in Portsmouth, Va.

The event features the nation’s top 64 seniors in a four-day event for NBA scouts. The 12-game event is one of the last opportunities for each team to see the seniors before the 2015 NBA Draft.

Dejean-Jones, a graduate transfer from Los Angeles, Calif., started 21 games for the Cyclones last season and averaged 10.9 points and 4.7 rebounds per game.

Hogue, an Indian Hills Community College transfer, started all 70 games in his two seasons as a Cyclone. He averaged 9.3 points and 4.9 rebounds in his senior season and shot 55.7 percent from the field. His 43.1 percent 3-point shooting in his final season led the team and his career field goal percentage of 56.6% is second all-time in school history.

The last Cyclone to participate in the Portsmouth Invitational was Will Clyburn in 2013. Martin Rancik, Paul Shirley, Jackson Vroman, Jared Homan, Jiri Hubalek, Marquis Gilstrap and Diante Garrett have also participated in the event since 2001.
