The Big 12 and Southeastern conferences have announced Iowa State’s opponents for the upcoming Big 12/SEC challenges of 2016 and 2017.

The Big 12/SEC Women’s Basketball Challenge will expand to 10 games per season, with each game including one Big 12 team squaring off against one SEC team.

In 2016, the ISU women’s basketball team will take on Mississippi State in Ames and in 2017 the team will hit the road, traveling to Nashville, where they will play Vanderbilt.

Specific times and dates of the games have not yet been announced, though they will be scheduled for sometime between Dec. 1-4.

The inaugural Big 12/SEC Women’s Basketball Challenge was held in 2014, when Texas and Texas A&M faced off, as well as Oklahoma and Arkansas.
