Redshirt senior Katy Moen and graduate student Margaret Connelly competed in their final indoor track seasons at Iowa State.

For Connelly, it was her first season as a Cyclone and it began with a fourth-place performance in the 3000-meter run at the Razorback Team Invitational. Connelly finished second in the 5000-meter run at the Iowa State Classic and then placed second and third at the Big 12 Indoor Championship in the 5000-meter and 3000-meter, respectively.

Moen posted similar results throughout the season, placing second in the 3000-meter at the Razorback Team Invitational, fifth in the 3000-meter at the Iowa State Classic, and then third and second in the 5000-meter and 3000-meter at the Big 12s.

Both runners are currently waiting to see if their times are good enough to compete in the NCAA Indoor Championship in Fayetteville, Ark. on March 13 and 14.

The last step for the two is the outdoor season, which begins March 13 and 14.
