Numerous top times in the nation were posted in various middle and long-distance events at the Iowa State Classic, but one stands out more than others for the Cyclones.

Senior Ed Kemboi clocked the fastest time in the 800-meter race, earning the top spot in the country with a 1:46.09 time.

Redshirt senior Patrick Peterson and senior Brian Biekert earned the ninth and 10th fastest mile times in ISU indoor history, respectively. Both runners set personal record in the event.

In the field events, redshirt senior Cameron Ostrowski finished second in the high jump. Ostrowski’s 2.21-meter jump ranks him seventh nationally.

Next on the schedule for the ISU men’s track and field team is the UNI-Dome Open on Feb. 20.
