Current ISU men’s golfers featured in the record books

The 2013-14 season was one of the most successful seasons in ISU men’s golf history. The Cyclones advanced to the NCAA Championship for the first time in more than 50 years and the top six golfers from that squad have returned for the 2014-15 season. Below are where current members of the team have made their mark on the ISU record book:

Low 18-hole round:

1. Ruben Sondjaja: 64, 2014 ASU Thunderbird Invitational.

T2. Scott Fernandez: 65, recorded three times.

3. Fernandez: 66, recorded three times.

Low 18-hole team round:

1. 270, 2014 NCAA Regionals.

3. 274, 2014, ASU Thunderbird Invitational.

4. 275, 2014, Jim West Intercollegiate.

Low 54-hole individual score:

2. Fernandez: 203, 2013, ASU Thunderbird Invitational.

T4. Fernandez: 205, 2011, VCU Shootout.

T5. Sam Daley: 206 2014 Jim West Intercollegiate.

Low 54-hole team score:

4. 848, 2014 Jim West Intercollegiate.

5. 849, 2014 NCAA Regionals.

Career stroke average:

1. Fernandez: 72.16.

5. Daley: 73.88.
