A fifth-place performance at the Razorback Team Invitational for the ISU women’s track and field team was highlighted by a number of strong individual performances.

Eight personal records were set for the Cyclones on Jan. 31. Seven of the eight were set in the 3000-meter event.

Redshirt senior Katy Moen’s personal record of 9:10.76 in the 3000-meter Invitational placed her fourth in ISU history in the event. Graduate student Margaret Connelly now ranks eighth all-time in ISU history after running to 9:20.84 time in the same event, finishing fourth overall at the invitational.

The other personal record for the Cyclones was set by graduate student Katherine DeSimone, who ran to a 4:56.66 time in the mile.

The team will next compete in the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational in Lincoln, Neb. on Feb. 6 to 7.
