Reiman Gardens is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2015. Here are some highlight exhibits this year.

InTREEguing TREEhouses :: Throughout the Gardens (April 25 through October 25)

Experience the beauty of the natural world from a new perspective with this interactive, life-size outdoor display featuring eight treehouses scattered throughout Reiman Gardens. 

Orchid Extravaganza :: Hughes Conservatory (January 11 through April 25)

Celebrate this unique group of plants with hundreds of colorful blossoms that will surely brighten any winter blues. Learn how these flowering plants interact with insects in their native environments and gain a new admiration for these amazing, diverse and beautiful blooms.

Boom in Bloom :: Campanile Garden & Herb Garden (Mid-April through Mid-May)

The annual spring tradition continues. This year the Gardens will explode with thousands of colorful tulip blooms. More than 28,000 bulbs planted last fall will light up the Gardens.

Our Past and Key to the Future :: Stafford Garden (May through October)

The prairie plants featured in the Stafford Garden represent Iowa’s past. Learn more about the beautiful tall-grass prairies that once blanketed the state.

The Relish Tray :: Home Production Garden (May through October)

Food is an important addition to any event, and the vegetable crudité is an absolute must for a seasonal garden party. Go behind the scenes to experience what these entertaining veggies look like before they are put on the party platter.

Punch & MerriMINT :: Herb Garden (May through October)

Historically, all punches included the same five ingredients: sugar, alcohol, lemon, water and tea or spices. The Herb Garden features the botanical components that go into the punch bowl, including spices like nutmeg, ginger, allspice and, of course, mint!

Little Landscapes :: Children’s Garden (May through October)

Travel through the Children’s Garden to take a look into the past, present and future. Miniature landscapes featuring topiary dinosaurs walking through tropics, dwarf plants and miniature buildings reflecting the earth today, and an arid landscape featuring enchanting desert plants as a possible future.
