Quick preview: ISU women’s basketball vs. Oklahoma State

Iowa State and Oklahoma State will meet in a Big 12 clash Jan. 30. Here is what you need to know:

Streaking

Oklahoma State enters the game riding a four-game losing streak. Iowa State enters the matchup with a one-game losing streak, fresh off a loss against Kansas, which snapped the team’s previous three-game winning streak.

Injuries

Both teams will play without a starting guard due to injury. Iowa State’s Jadda Buckley is nursing a stress fracture in her foot and the team is still unsure when she will be available to play again. For Oklahoma State, Brittany Atkins will miss the remainder of the season with an injury sustained against West Virginia. Both guards were averaging nine points per game. 

Big 12 standings

Iowa State is third in the conference standings with a 5-3 conference record. Oklahoma State is at the bottom of the standings, tied for last with a 2-6 conference record.
