Cyclone Hockey takes on its Central States Collegiate Hockey League rival Lindenwood this weekend. Here are some players to look out for.

Matt Cooper, Cyclone goaltender: Cooper has been as advertised this season, posting a 2.05 goals against rating and putting up an exceptional .935 save percentage. He is coming off a great game on Nov. 21, when he stopped 37 of 39 shots faced.

Antti Helanto, Cyclone defenseman: Somewhat of a mainstay on this list, Helanto had another good weekend with four points. He has been the “MVP” of the team according to Cyclone Hockey coach Jason Fairman.

Alex Stephens, Cyclone forward: Stephens has been riding a hot streak lately, scoring in his last three games. He is coming off scoring the game winner Nov. 22 against the Colorado State Rams.

Injury Update

Captain Mike Dopko is unlikely to play this weekend with an upper body injury, according to Fairman. Dopko sustained the injury Nov. 7 against Minot State.

Cyclone Hockey will play against Lindenwood University at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 5 and continue with a second game at 4 p.m. on Dec. 6. Both games are in Wentzville, Mo. at the Lindenwood Ice Arena.
