Publications being distributed across campus this week

As the semester draws to a close, student publications are being distributed across campus.

Hoops, Ethos, Uhuru, Trend, Revival and Sir are all being released and distributed this week and next week. These entirely student-run publications publish content ranging from fashion and trends to politics and religion.

The Iowa State Daily is publishing its Hoops Magazine on Dec. 3. This magazine will feature unique stories about the ISU men and women’s basketball programs.

Ethos Magazine is set to be distributed across campus Dec. 8. Ethos Magazine focuses on the culture of Iowa State and the Ames area.

Sir Magazine is hosting its release party Dec. 3 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at The Foundry Leasing Office at 120 Hayward Ave. Sir Magazine is a men’s interest and lifestyle publication.

Revival Magazine is hosting its release party Dec. 4 from 6 pm. to 8 p.m. at the Biorenewables Complex. Revival focuses on art, music, fashion and culture.

Trend Magazine is hosting its release party Dec. 4 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Reiman Gardens Conservatory Complex in the Garden Room. Trend Magazine focuses on fashion, beauty and lifestyle trends.

Uhuru Magazine is tentatively being released Dec. 10. Uhuru focuses culture, politics and art from a multicultural perspective.

Students can pick up the student publications on newsstands in many building on campus like in the library, dining centers and residence halls.
