Students celebrate completed degrees

Almost 1,800 students will move their tassels and throw their hats in the air this Saturday as they celebrate their completed degrees at the all-university commencement ceremony. 

The ceremony, 1:30 p.m., Dec. 20, at Hilton Coliseum, features graduates from the undergraduate and graduate colleges and does not require tickets. 

Recipients include: 1,465 bachelor’s, 216 master’s and 111 doctoral degrees, according to Inside Iowa State. 

Each college will have its own commencement ceremony, as well.
