3-pointers have been a staple of the ISU women’s basketball team ever since head coach Bill Fennelly took over 20 seasons ago. The Cyclones have made a shot from deep in every regular season game dating back to February 1995.

Three Cyclones cashed in from deep in the first half against Winona State on Nov. 9:

Nicole “Kidd” Blaskowsky: 4-for-6, made first three attempts

Brynn Williamson: 1-for-2

Bryanna Fernstrom: 1-for-1

Iowa State cooled off in the second half, making just 1-out-of-5 3-point shots. By then it was too late for the WSU Warriors, who shot 1-out-of-21 from beyond the arc, the only successful shot coming with less than five minutes left in the game.
