Stensland caps off crazy exhibition bout at Hilton

The fans at Hilton had numerous reasons to cheer Nov. 7, but it was freshman walk-on Daniel Stensland who got perhaps the biggest cheer of the night.

Amidst a flurry of dunks, breakaway dunks and 3 pointers splashed from everywhere on the court, which tallied a 115-48 exhibition win against Viterbo, Stensland found an opportunity for a shot attempt.

The young man made the most of it.

With only a few minutes left in the game, Stensland became open and knocked in a three, getting an official mark on the stat sheet while at the same time rounding it off. Of the ten players who saw the court, Stensland was the last to score.

Great games were had all around. Junior Naz Long dumped in 17 points and senior Daniel Edozie supplemented 14 points with 11 rebounds.
