There are many different and celebrated cultures in Malaysia.

The country is mainly made up of three different nationalities: the Malays, the Chinese and the Indians. Each of these nationalities bring their own religions and cultures to the country.

The many religions of Malaysia include Islam, Buddhism, Christianity and Hinduism. Each religion has its own special holidays and events, but the Malaysians celebrate all of them. It is one inclusive celebration.

The Chinese New Year, Diwali and Christmas have all been declared national holidays.

Malaysian Culture Night showcased all the different types of cultures Malaysia has to offer. Its goal was to further encourage tolerance of cultures and to educate the general public about Malaysian cultures.
