Iowa State defeats Winona State in final exhibition game of season

In their final exhibition game of the season, the ISU women’s basketball team didn’t miss a step. Iowa State beat the Winona State Warriors 64-29 on Nov. 9.

The Cyclones jumped out to an 18-0 lead early, and never looked back. Nicole “Kidd” Blaskowsky led the Cyclones in scoring, finishing the game with 17. Bryanna Fernstrom finished the game with nine points, and both Jadda Buckley and Seanna Johnson finished with eight points.

Iowa State will open the regular season on Nov. 16, when they host USC Upstate at Hilton Coliseum.
