New Hoodie Allen album drops, college students rejoice

Christian Dahl

This past Tuesday, 26-year-old Hoodie Allen released his first feature album “People Keep Talking.” It is not a secret that the main audience of Allen’s is that of the high school and college demographic. With past hits like “No Interruption”, and the high school angst ballad “Eighteen Cool”, one can see why. While in the past you could hear his songs at house parties and in Prom limos, his new album tackles different themes. With songs like “People Keep Talking” he takes shots at critics and others that have doubted him on his way to his current musical success. Even with a shift in mood, do not freak out, there are still some songs to play the next time you have people over. Fun, upbeat songs to be sure to check out are “Movie”, “Numbers”, and “All About It” featuring Ed Sheeran. With the album in stores, on iTunes and Spotify make sure you get out there and play this new release.
