ISU soccer volunteer assistant’s timeline

Trey Alessio

• 2003-2007: Whitney Sharpe led West Des Moines Valley to four straight championships. She ended her high school career as the school’s all-time leading scorer with 58 goals and 36 assists.

• 2008-2010: Sharpe played for the UCLA Bruins. They won the PAC-10 in 2008 and made it to the Final Four in 2008 and 2009.

• 2010-2011: Sharpe played for the Texas Tech Red Raiders. She was named All-Big 12 Newcomer as a junior and made All-Big 12 2nd Team.

• 2011-2012: Sharpe finished her college career at Loyla Marymount where she was the team captain. She also made 2nd Team All-West Coast Conference.

• 2013-2014: Sharpe signed with Ajax in Amsterdam, Netherlands..

• 2014: Sharpe became the volunteer assistant for the ISU soccer team.
