Conflict of Interest Policy:
Iowa State Daily Media Group staffers may not cover a campus organization they belong to, or participate in any editorial, opinion or business decisions regarding that organization. Staffers may provide story leads to the Daily about the organizations to which they belong to other staffers.
Staffers are asked to report their memberships to their supervising editor or manager. If a staffer covers an event by an organization in which they are an active member, disciplinary action could result.
If a student believes they have been discriminated against in any way, they may file a grievance and discuss the matter with a committee of the Publications Board.
