Iowa State (6-5, 0-1 Big 12) dropped the first game of the conference slate against Oklahoma State 1-0 in Stillwater, Oklahoma, on Sept. 26.

The Cowgirls were able to score a goal midway through the first half and held the lead throughout the remainder of the game.

Iowa State pressured Oklahoma State throughout the second half, but was ultimately unable to find the back of the net.

ISU’s conference schedule will continue on Sept. 28 as the team will travel further south for a matchup against Baylor in Waco, Texas.

Baylor ended Iowa State’s season last year by beating them in the first round of the Big 12 tournament.

Iowa State will look to avenge that loss and bring their record to 1-1 in conference play against Baylor on Sunday afternoon.
