The honors continued to roll in for gymnast Camille Santerre-Gervais on Tuesday, when she was named a First Team All-American on the uneven bars. Though it’s the first All-America honor of her career, the senior is no stranger to individual accolades.

Her school-record tying 9.950 against West Virginia on Feb. 7 earned her Big 12 Event Specialist of the Week honors, but she wasn’t done there. The senior went on to score 9.900 or above on bars in five of Iowa State’s last six meets.

Santerre-Gervais was named to the All-Big 12 Team on the bars March 19, and was one of two ISU gymnasts selected for the honor.

The St. Lazere, Quebec native also scored a meet-high 9.950 at the Big 12 Championships Saturday and was crowned conference champion on the apparatus. Following the meet, Santerre-Gervais was named the Big 12 Event Specialist of the Year.

The country’s top eight gymnasts on each event are selected as All-Americans, and Santerre-Gervais currently sits in a three-way tie for sixth in the nation on bars with a Regional Qualifying Score of 9.925.
