Women’s track finishes UNI-Dome Classic

Jessica Nichols highlighted the ISU effort at the UNI-Dome Classic this weekend as she set a personal record in the 60-meter dash en route to a first place finish.

Nichols also took home a second-place finish in the 200-meter dash event.

Brittney Williams and Emily Toennies finished second and third, respectively, in the 400-meter dash.

Heidi Englehardt and Kristen Henson each took home second place finishes in the mile and 3,000-meter race, respectively.

Throwers Kayla Sanborn tied her personal best in the weight throw event, and Anna Holtermann set a new personal best in the same event.

Bree Woelber took first place in the high jump event with a top jump of 5’02.25″.

Still to compete this weekend for ISU women’s track and field is Christina Hillman. Hillman will be competing in the shot put event at the USA Indoor Track and Field Championships in Albuquerque, N.M.

Hillman’s competition is slated to start at 2:20 Sunday.
